The history and art of both past and present world cultures will be introduced to the students. The course is designed to enable students to identify, observe, comprehend, and evaluate various forms and styles of art.
(.50 credits) – This course provides a background and discussion of the cultural creativity of humans in the visual and performing arts from the beginning of history to the present. The material in this course enables students to recognize various historical periods of the arts and their influence on the societies and cultures of the modern world.
